Good but not perfect

I have owned other Turtle Beach models before buying the XL1, which could be why my experience with the XL1 has not been perfect - as the other models I have owned have been more expensive (and I guess therefore better quality).

You definitely get a clear advantage playing First Person Shooter games with this headset, as you can hear your enemy coming from a distance. I actually play all of my games, including Fifa, with this headset on as it keeps the room quiet when I'm playing late at night.

The ear cups are the comfiest I've had on any Turtle Beach headset and I can wear them for hours and hours without any earache. There is also a cool feature where you can hear your own voice through the headset when you speak, without any delay and you can still hear game sound and your friends talking without any interference.

In summary, the XL1 is a really good headset but just not as good as some others that I've tried. However - for value for money I would give it 5 stars.
