This product is amazing the technology used for this is incredible, only issue is that the picture on the website is of the older model of the Tritton AX Pro's "BUT" when you buy them and receive it, it is the latest model, brilliant product, great next day deliver service, Audio 10* , Feel 10* , gamingzap 10*

AWESOME!

This headset is the best thing I have bought for my xbox! Makes it into a whole different machine! Only downside is that the wires leave a bit of a mess haha, but wow the surround sound is really cool. Works with my pc too, win win!

GamingZap Opinion: This is one of the best headsets available on ANY platform. Although the huge amount of wires seem intimidating to start with, the positional sound straight out of the box is second to none for any console headset. Incredible performance in a 5.1 headset, the only thing that will even come close to this is the Turtle Beach X41, and even then the AX Pro has it beat in terms of positional sound!

Truly unbelievable

1 word - WOW!

THE ADVANTAGES
This headset deffinately gives you the competetive edge and helps develop your gaming skills. During gameplay(call of duty - MW3) i have realised that my whole gaming scheme changes when i am able to hear opponents walking around coners from all different angles, this headset doesn't get you a lot more kills but when you have the ability to hear opponents 50 metres behind you, you deffinately die less which is a massive bonus!!! Its not just the fact that you have extremely clear sound, its also that if you are playing your console late at night when others in the household are trying to sleep it is extremely quiet and very useful for watching late night films.

THE DISADVANTAGES
there are very few disadvantages that actual make a difference because this peice of kit is so amazing.I have noticed that the majority of picyures/video clips(on youtube) have the old version of this headset and it is very hard to find a tutorial on how to use these headsets effectively and or what settings to use on the amazing dolby digital dicoder. This headset is for the hardcore gamers out there because it costs a lot of money so if you are a casual gamer that may only play your console once or twice a week there is really no point in buying this headset unless you have £140 spare.

All in all this is an amzazing headset and a perfect christmas/birthday prasent for any gamer lucky enough to have a family with enough money.

recommend them

The Headset is a great piece of kit. I was amazed at the sound that they deliver.
The only thing, if you buying them for you PS3, is to remember to adjust your
“Audi outs” in order to get the mic to work. Other then that I would highly recommend them.
The ordering and delivery from GamingZap was also Top notch

fantastic

First i would like to say thanks to gaming zap for amazing service and the speed of delivery was 18 hours u cant beat it!!

Now on to the headset, from reading reviews i heard the setup was a bit of a pain but to be honest wasnt anything of the sort, the booklet is very informative if u where to run into a problem.
The heaset it self well what can i say its outstanding the sound it delivers is truly fantastic and being able to customise the speakers to your liking really helps u get into the game. For example if your playing mw2 u can turn the bass down and use the time delay so u can hear footsteps well before they ever reach u, so u are never caught out by a sneaky soilder creeping up on u.
To be honest i could write so much about this headset but i dont no if my fingers could take all the typing.
Last point i would like to make is that i have used, and owned other headset and none compare to these as far as pin pointing out peoples positions and direction of fire ect..
Botton line if u got the cash and are looking for a headset get this one u wont be dissapointed.

Remember its only money u cant take it with u!!

Superb

This is a truly remarkable product from the durable detatchable headphone to the individual speaker audio controls this is an experience not to be missed, this product provides a completely different side to gaming with the true 5.1 surround high definition audio in each ear the quality and clarity is brilliant, this is a lightweight product good for longterm wear and very comfortable around the ears with the soft earcup covers, once again brilliant service from Gamingzap and a brilliant product provided. Great service, good product poor detailed information

The service I got was great, I asked for next day delivery over the week between xmas and new years and received it on time which was a great surprise, big thumbs up for service.

As for the product itself it’s good, the only real issue I had was the lack of detailed instructions, however YouTube/Google helped. The basic set up is simpler than getting the product out the box! I was ready to play within 10 mins using the included start-up guide. However it took me about a week of tweaking to find the best set up and now I hear everything I need to. I would have liked there to be an audio test sample included to help with the tweaking, I ended up using zombies on COD black ops and also a friend as a closed private party for refinement.
I have noticed one issue with build quality which is the cable as it enter the in hand volume control outer sheath slips out, but it is so minor that it hasn’t really bothered me. I do love this headset and the ease of having everything need in the box is wonderful. The Pro decoder box does have space for a second headset which is great as it will allow in the future to add a second so my wife can play/watch in 5.1 with me, however I have not been able to locate the headset only for sale, even on the home site, and this is an oversight in my mind. I have had days of gaming fun and find it comfortable to wear for long sessions (15 hours has been my longest).
As for sound quality they are good, I have compared them with my Sennheiser HD590. Audiophiles will notice the difference when watching movies but I doubt it on games anyone else will not. The Trittion have a more distinct/sharper sound they don’t handle subtle rounding very well (they are only good rather than exceptional), the sound is not an ear cuddle, it is precise and hard, perfect for precision gaming sound. At the end of the day the source will always be the game where most of the effort of production is on graphical rather than audio content, so the source tends to lack complexity in the sound and the Trittion work with what they are given very very well.
In short, great service, good product but lack of detailed information included or on triton home site.
Best headset moment so far......, taking long shots from cover using FN Fal on array (COD black ops) I heard an enemies footsteps in the snow trying to sneak around to backstab me, the precision of the sound allowed me to spin and headshot, was a beautiful kill cam, I spun around and stuffed the mussel up his nose one step before he entered knifing range.
