top notch for driving games
I didn't want to spend the extra money on the official Sony controller but i'm glad i did. In the end GT 5 swayed me as there just wasn't any form of feedback from the original six axis controller which in my opinion really hurt the game. However with one of these the game is vastly improved the rumble is very subtlety used more so than with the older Dualshock 2s.
You can really feel the gear changes, rumble strips, collisions and even the weight of the car shifting. This alone has made it a worthwhile purchase for me.
A lot of games now offer the extra feedback the only downside is you have to manually update them sometimes and the update isn't automatic like it should be.

You get what you pay for!
This is more expensive than other 3rd party controllers, and while some offer different sizes and configurations, this is the best standard controller by far. I've tried many of the cheaper alternatives and none come close to the Sony in terms of build quality and response. It's comfortable and reliable, I wouldn't buy anything else!
