Flight Control Coming to PS3

Flight Control, which did very well as an app with the iPhone’s multitouch controls, is getting a release for PlayStation Move at launch through the PSN. It’s also playable with the PS3′s standard controller. The game will be sold over the PlayStation Store; no price was given in the news release, but it will be available in all regions except Asia on Sept. 15, the date PlayStation Move launches in Europe. It launches Sept. 19 in North America. When Move arrives Oct. 21 in Japan, Flight Control will become available there. Flight Control HD’s distinctive retro graphics also soar to new heights on the PlayStation 3, with upgraded art and effects in glorious 1080p resolution. Flight Control HD also supports an optional stereoscopic 3D mode throughout the game, with aircraft appearing to float over the landscape (requires compatible 3D television and 3D glasses).

The game’s news release says a PS3 exclusive, super-sized “Metropolis” map will be included with the game’s standard map set. With all these new titles being announced, are you more excited about Xbox’s Kinect or Playstation’s Move?
