Extinct Bowser Fossils Found

These are the remains of a giant land turtle on a Pacific Island. The turtle was thought to have gone extinct 50000 years ago but recent remains were found on a 3000 year old site,  and it seems that humans hunted them to extinction. This particular one is around 5 feet wide and would have weighed half a ton, although there were larger species before this. The head has an uncanny resemblance to Bowser, if only the fossil was standing up and had spikes on the back we would have an identical match.
